Vehicle Mechanic

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Mechanic with diagnostic experience to join a well-established vehicle repair centre. This full-time role offers a salary range of £36,000 - £44,000 and benefits.

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will diagnose and perform a range of repairs and servicing tasks on customer vehicles.

You will be responsible for:

• Applying technical expertise to ensure all servicing and repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Completing service documentation and repair records accurately, in line with company processes and managerial requirements.
• Reviewing job cards thoroughly to assess vehicle condition, confirm diagnosis accuracy, and verify the scope of approved work.
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with team members across the workshop.
• Collaborating effectively within the team to uphold high standards of customer service.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Car Mechanic, Car Technician or in a similar role.
• Possess diagnostic experience.
• NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and functionalities.
• MOT Tester status would be beneficial.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
