An opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Damage Assessor with 3 years’ experience in a role to join a leading, multi-award-winning accident repair centre, offering excellent benefits. OTE Up to £49k including bonus
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage and preparing estimates for repair work, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
They will consider both qualified and non-qualified candidates.
You will be responsible for:
- Ordering parts when applicable, ensuring they are correct, labelled, and stored for traceability.
- Maintaining detailed records of estimates and obtaining proper authorisation for any work required.
- Liaising with body shop personnel to ensure they fully understand the required repair work.
- Communicating with insurers when necessary, particularly if a vehicle is declared a total loss.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked for at least 3 years as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or in a similar role.
- Skilled in preparing detailed vehicle damage assessments.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Shift:
- Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm
