The Company

My client a leading Furniture business have been providing furniture to the contract healthcare market for over 40 years and have an excellent reputation for their honest, friendly and reliable service. They are now looking for an Upholsterer to come and join the product development team.

The Role

The role is to come in and work closely with the in house new product development team, help create prototypes for the development of new furniture concepts for sign off.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with the in house new product development team to create upholstered seating
  • To create prototypes for the development of new furniture concepts for sign off
  • Ensure deadlines are achieved within the given time

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • A strong interest in design and construction of furniture/products
  • A team player
  • Ability to work to deadlines when needed
  • Ability to manage and ensure deadlines are achieved
