Our client is a successful and expanding trusted supplier of technology to the financial services industry and has a flat structure and employs many talented people who all work together. They are looking for a candidate who is able to fit into this structure and communicate with both business people and the development team.
I am looking for a UI/UX designer who will work closely with a team of Business Analysts and Software Developers to create a consistent and engaging user experience across all my client’s Wealth Management platform.
The UI/UX Designer will be expected to understand and improve the client’s user experience of their systems by reviewing existing applications to improve usability and design. In addition, you will manage and maintain the design system to ensure a consistent user experience.
You will research industry trends, designing, prototyping and creating visual artefacts to improve the overall branding of my client’s Products.
You will have commercial experience in branding across multiple platforms to a high quality and a good working knowledge of some of the following: Figma, Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc.), Axure, OmniGraffle and Xscope.
You will have an understanding of the relevant user experience to create scenarios and user journeys.
You will have experience of conducting user research and information architecture techniques and of creating wireframes and prototypes to quickly communicate and test your ideas. These will range from low-fidelity hand-drawn models to high-fidelity digital mock-ups.
You will have excellent written and communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across the company; both internally and externally. Also you will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner, while having the ability to bring creative design solutions forward.
You will have some experience in legacy software re-design, creating design prototypes, wireframes and mock-ups based on product requirements while liaising with the development team and business analyst to implement user improvements.
You will have experience of designing graphical user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets and of working using Agile methodologies.
