UI Front End Developer, Remote or Hybrid - London/Remote
£65 to £70k + bonus + shares
My client, a global information technology consulting and systems integration company are going through exciting times and are doing something different, creating Human Centred Design pods. It’s a great time for a UI Front End Developer to join the team – they are changing the way they look, behave and do business. As a result, they are looking for a talented individual who can help deliver these new and innovative projects.
This role can be fully remote or hybrid working, your choice.

The HCD, UI Front end Developer will undertake activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the user requirements and any wider programme. During this engagement they will work as part of the project team following the direction, guidance and approach for the Pod from the HCD UX Strategist.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Working as a UI Front-End Developer you will join a collaborative team, performing design and development activities for web-based user interface applications and delivering high quality software iteratively within an Agile environment. You'll follow best development practices with quality in delivery at the heart of everything we do; utilising a pipeline delivery model for automation through to deployment.
The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying user interfaces (websites, applications, etc.), from layout to function and according to the designer’s specifications. Strive to create visually appealing interfaces that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Owns HTML/CSS/JS Pattern and UI Component Library
Responsible for implementing initial design specs to ensure smooth hand-off to development team
Builds reusable code and libraries for future use
Helps to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in early conceptual design phase

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will have previous commercial experience of UI front end development / software engineering within an agile environment.
Proficiency with the following technologies is essential..
Angular or React or Vue
Bootstrap and/or MaterialUI
Git (Hub or Lab)
Cloud fundamentals (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Agile or scaled Agile processes and principles
