Testing Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Testing Technician tojoin a reputable company in the calibration industry. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £25,000 - £28,000.

As a Testing Technician, you will perform tests across various disciplines, focusing primarily on calorimetric heat exchanger performance, as part of the technician team. This role does not offer sponsorship.

You will be responsible for:

• Modify rigs and piping systems to meet specific work instructions.
• Process testing results with a high level of accuracy.
• Participate in competency assessments, internal investigations, and UKAS audits.
• Cross-train across departments and sites to provide cover during peak demand.
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated, functional, and fit for purpose.
• Adhere to ISO17025 and ISO9001 accreditation requirements.
• Generate testing reports and support peers in task completion.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Test Technician, Calibration Technician, Quality Technicianor in a similar role.
• Skilled in calorimetric testing across various fluid types and designs, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to identify various heat exchangers and automotive components, with a clear understanding of work instructions.
• Understanding of result validity, quality control, and traceability principles.
• Competence in using hand and power tools safely and appropriately.
• Right to work in the UK.
