Sponsorship Sales Executive

Location: Ware, Hertfordshire

Salary: £25k - £40k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

The Role:

As a Sponsorship Sales Executive, you will sell multi-tiered sponsorship packages for established and launch events. This role involves identifying suitable partners, fostering relationships, and tailoring packages to meet client objectives. You'll also engage with a large, targeted audience and explore cross-selling opportunities.


  • Sell diverse sponsorship packages for large-scale and launch events to UK and international clients
  • Achieve and surpass agreed targets consistently
  • Expand revenue from existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities
  • Maintain regular client communication, offer innovative solutions, and ensure profitability
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, production, and operations teams for successful customer-focused events and publishing
  • Manage sales reports and oversee the sales pipeline
  • Identify potential customers through media, events, and other sources
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to develop an enticing sponsorship inventory
  • Conduct swift research to identify and target potential prospects intelligently
  • Engage with prospects, provide consultation, match them with event opportunities, and secure deals
  • Develop and manage a substantial event pipeline throughout the year
  • Monitor forecasts, sales targets, and the pathway to achieve them


  • You should have prior experience in a conference company or publishing, focusing significantly on event content.
  • Proven track record in delegate and/or sponsorship sales, preferably in events or publishing.
  • Strong sales acumen, with a consultative approach and ability to spot sponsorship opportunities.
  • Intuitive grasp of events' commercial advantages for sponsors
  • Strong command of sponsorship sales principles
  • Insightful understanding of customer business concerns
  • Balanced blend of personal drive and team collaboration
