Sous Chef (accommodation if required) – Port Ellen, Isle of Islay
Salary: Excellent Package commensurate with experience
Our client’s hotel sits within the Perfect Location – the start of the ‘Whisky Path’ to Islay’s southernmost distilleries – Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg. The hotel has been completely rebuilt to high modern and environmentally friendly standards with a 4 Star rating. It is close to the ferry and only a 10 minute drive to the airport. 13 individually designed bedrooms with luxury ensuite bathrooms. Acclaimed restaurant offering fresh, local seafood, beef, lamb and pork. Whisky bar with over 100 malt whiskies – awarded the Most Unique Whisky Bar in Argyll this year!
They are now on the lookout for a suitability experienced Sous Chef to join their team in Port Ellen, Isle of Islay
Our client requires a full time Sous Chef. This may suit a strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef who is looking to take the next step within a kitchen is spacious and well equipped. They do around 30/40 covers for lunch with 80/120 evening meals served throughout their bar and restaurant. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their talent and skills in a fabulous location. It’s a Full time position with immediate start. Excellent rate of pay with every hour worked being paid. In addition you will entitled to an equitable share of the tips which generally works out at roughly an extra £1 to £1.50 per hour worked. We are also able to provide accommodation for anyone relocating.
This would be an ideal opportunity for a couple or family to relocate to the scenic Isle of Islay. We can over other positions in the hotel for a partner. Positions also available in our housekeeping, restaurant and bar.
