Senior Project Manager, Remote (Data /Email projects) - Remote/UK
My client, an award-winning Media Publisher is looking for a Senior Project Manager who has experience with Data and Email projects.
This role can be 100% home based or hybrid.
It is essential to have proven track record of delivering complex, high profile projects & programmes as well as high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with Agile development approaches.
The role of the Senior Project Manager is to ensure that operational and project related activity across the Product department is managed and communicated effectively. As well as ensuring it's delivered against KPIs as directed by the Project Director.
This position includes project and programme management responsibilities across Product’s operational and development initiatives as directed by the Group Product Project Director. Over time this role may extend to include line management & coaching responsibilities.
Reports directly to the Group Product Project Director. Our HQ is in London and we are happy for you to come in to meet with the team when needed.
Planning and implementation of concurrent projects & programmes.
Defining the scope and goals of projects & programmes.
Planning and scheduling project timelines across the product org.
Resource planning and allocation.
Carrying out risk and issues assessment, with actions to mitigate identified issues and risks.
Managing the budgetary objectives along with measuring the value being delivered.
Building and retaining trust with stakeholders across the Group.
Aligning and managing expectations.
Supporting Product Managers in project delivery and managing the scope of the project where necessary.
Reporting regularly to senior management on the progress being delivered on a project.
Supporting wider communication of the progress of various product initiatives and projects.
Tracking performance and measuring value being delivered.
Procurement best practice practitioner and vendor management.
Line management & coaching.
The Ideal Candidate
Defining, documenting, and managing full project life cycles within complex environments from inception through to implementation and ops.
Organisational, planning, numeracy and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail, and ability to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly.
Comfortable with ambiguity and making recommendations and decisions with incomplete sets of information .
Positive approach and attitude.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with all levels of audience.
Strong teamwork, stakeholder management, coordination, planning and influencing skills.
