Salary: £45k plus uncapped commission

My client is a well-established Cyber Security, IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Consultancy which, to date, has achieved consistent growth in terms of revenues, profitability, employee numbers, client numbers and value propositions. The Board of Directors are now committing to achieving accelerated growth through the development of a high performing, self-sufficient & scalable sales department focused on a clearly defined target market.

They help enterprise, SME businesses and public sector organisations by providing highly skilled IT consultancy and support to a wide range of sectors across London, Essex and the UK.

Their expertise includes Cyber Security, IT Project Implementation and Support, Managed IT Services, Software Development, ICT Support for Schools, Enterprise Risk Management Software, IT Support for M&A, Business Risk Modelling, Risk Software Tools

The Role:

My client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team.  For the right person, this is an amazing opportunity to play an integral part in the growth of my clients business, building on what is already a long-standing reputation in the IT industry cemented by a number of industry accolades.
 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Your 1st priority will be to build, maintain and develop a pipeline of qualified prospective clients who meet clearly defined criteria.
  • Once you have achieved set objectives, you will be given the opportunity to start the 1st round of recruitment for at least 2 Sales Consultants under your leadership.
  • As additional results are achieved, you will be given further opportunity to expand the Sales team as detailed within the Sales strategy.
  • Reporting directly to the Board, the right candidate must be able to demonstrate team focused and selfless leadership capabilities along with a recent history of personally achieving impressive sales results particularly in the development of new business.
  • You won’t be required to design IT networks and write IT security policies however you will need to know and understand why their clients benefit from working with my clients organisation.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience of working in IT MSP service-based sales is advantageous and a base level of IT technical knowledge is a must have
  • Experience of submitting & winning tenders is desirable.
  • Team focused and selfless leadership capabilities
  • B2B sales experience; demonstratable ability to introduce new business as well as develop business from existing clients
  • A technical interest in IT and its function within businesses
  • Experience of using a CRM system
  • A multi-channel approach to engaging prospective clients
  • Max 90min commute to Central London

My client is offering:

  • £45k basic salary + uncapped commission (min OTE of £60k in 1st 12mths of employment)
