Our client is an elegant hotel nestled on the edge of the Cotswolds between Oxford and Swindon. The four star accommodation in Sudbury encompasses 50 en-suite bedrooms and 2 luxurious suites. Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure, the hotel is a place to relax in the peaceful surroundings.

The Role:

We are searching for a sales and events manager with previous experience in a similar role within a wedding, conference and event venue.


Ensure all departmental administration is followed to company standard

Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a proactive manner and converted to confirmed bookings

To grow and develop existing corporate business and develop new accounts

Ability to demonstrate a pro-active sales approach and identify new opportunities and convert to new business

Results focused with a drive to meet and exceed targets

Essential Skills & Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a hotel events management background and be flexible and able to work some evenings and weekend events when needed. Candidates must be organised, dynamic and hands on in their approach and able to see a job through from initial inquiry to managing and attending the event.
