My client, a digital start-up AI Software Builder is looking for a Sales Director/General Manager, you will be responsible for build and scaling the sales operations for the Studio Store business.
You will responsible for selling digital solutions (smaller deals) to SME's
The start-up specialises in building, maintaining and running bespoke software for their customers, making it faster, more accessible and less expensive for everyone to bring their ideas to life.
Last year they secured $29.5m of funding to scale our growth in Europe. They already have three offices in LA, Delhi, and London and recently hit 250 employees globally. A key focus for them this year is to significantly grow their London operation.
About the Role
Studio Store is Builder’s app store for small businesses such as Retail & Grocery stores, restaurants, and gyms, to take their business online quickly and affordably. The store offers ready-to-launch full featured apps that can be launched in as little as two weeks with full aftercare and cloud hosting support.
UK Sales Director and head of commercial operations for Studio Store, you will be responsible for build and scaling the sales operations for the Studio Store business. Initial focus will be to grow the business in the UK, India, and the MENA region before expanding to new territories and products. You will have the experience of managing inbound and outbound sales teams, dealing with high volume of leads and opportunities.
Grow user base for Studio Store products through effective sales channel management
Manage full-cycle sales process from lead generation to conversion through multiple sales approaches including inbound, outbound, and field sales
Recruit, train and optimize a team of SDRs, and external agencies to drive sales
Refine the sales pitch and process to achieve optimum results
Maintain daily, weekly sales metrics and help the team improve by understanding their performance
Manage lead flow and track efficiency of sales programs
Oversee usage of internal sales tech stack (Zoho, Salesforce)
Work closely with Marketing leadership to ensure success of online marketing campaigns in support of your sales teams
Effectively manage product mix by region to be sold through sales channel
Identify and support business development and partnership opportunities
Communicate with internal teams on product needs and delivery process improvements
Conduct regular data-based reporting to senior management team
7+ years of B2B sales experience with 3+ years managing high volume SDR teams
Experience having organised field sales operations or outbound call centre strongly preferred
Self-starter with proven success as a sales leader
Proven ability to establish metrics and processes to help your sales team exceed expectations
Experience selling into the SMB market strongly preferred
Experience using CRM tools such as Zoho CRM or SalesForce
Excellent written and spoken English
