Sales Coordinator – Whitstable, Kent

Salary:  Up to £23,000 per annum DOE + benefits

They are now on the lookout for a Sales Coordinator join their team in Whitstable, Kent.

Job Description

You’ll be engaging with clients both on and off site in a supporting role and independently where applicable as requested by the management team with the aim of growing the customer base

Implementing, contributing to and maintaining office-based Sales procedures in accordance with the applicable Standard Practices and the Quality system, whilst maintaining and exceeding the departmental and individual KPI requirements

Preparing and following up quotations in a timely fashion and processing orders. Sourcing quotes from multiple suppliers for repeat part quotes, as appropriate

Maintaining the customer database, ensuring that all activities from the team are recorded within the Opportunity Tracker where appropriate and providing reports and analysis as required.

Providing customer liaison in the event of delays or issues with products and services

Providing management with information relating to the sales pipeline and quotation performance.

Supporting in general sales administration activities as required, such as export compliance tasks and NDA completion

Essential Skills and Experience:

Are you an experienced Sales Coordinator looking for the next step in your career? Have you managed accounts and built up new and existing relationships with both internal and external customers? This is a very varied role which will involve all elements of the pre and post sales cycle. The successful candidate will be efficient, adaptable and extremely well organised. If you have an administration or a coordination background then this role could be perfect for you.

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, Grade C or above

• Customer Service and Account Management (customer enquiries, quotations, managing the order process and shipments, etc)

• PC literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work to tight deadlines, achieve sales target, prioritise workload and manage multiple projects at once

• Organised
