Room Manager (Baby Room)

Location: Tooting, Southwest London 

Salary: Up to £27,000

Permanent, 3-5 days per week (51 weeks)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Level 3+ Room Manager to joina reputable childcare nursery. In this role,you will oversee the daily operations of a childcare room, ensuring exceptional care and education.

You will be responsible for:

• Serve as a role model, demonstrating exemplary practices in childcare.
• Deliver exceptional learning experiences through engaging, well-planned activities.
• Maintain required staff-to-child ratios, ensuring comprehensive support across the nursery.
• Support children through transitions, managing related documentation and sessions.
• Engage in staff meetings, training, and parental evenings to strengthen community ties.
• Maintain up-to-date records and assessments of children's progress.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Room Manager or in a similar role.
• Relevant experience in early childhood education.
• Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years.
• Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and childcare legislation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
