Our Client’s team brings together many of the UK’s finest practitioners and teachers in all relevant healthcare disciplines.
I am currently recruiting for a qualified RMN to join an Occupational Health team based across two sites at Govan and Scotstoun, the position will initially be a year’s contract. The working pattern is Monday-Thursday 8am-4.45pm and Friday 8am-12.15pm, you will be required to work some night shifts, approximately two nights per quarter.
The successful individual will work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional OH service to the client dealing with the mental health referrals for case management. You will also complete Health Surveillance, Health Promotion and Absence Management.
You would be defining, developing, and influencing policy and strategy for managing mental health, and implementing a model for professional support of Mental Health First Aiders Community across the client’s business.
You will be attending and supporting the Client’s Mental Health and Well-being Working groups, providing informal coaching and support OH Clinical staff with regard to mental health cases and referring and signposting employees to appropriate support outside Occupational Health.
You will also design and deliver training and awareness sessions to Mental Health First Aiders and Managers (in conjunction with OH) around mental health and the workplace.
You will provide 1-1 problem solving sessions using CBT or Counselling or Coaching techniques in some cases and provide expert, evidence-based case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice when mental health is a factor.
This role is open to an Registered Mental Health who is experienced in work related issues, stress, bullying, mental health awareness and mental health first aid.You will have experience of Case Management and writing reports.
