An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse with ideally 1 year experience in animal care to join a well-established independent veterinary practice renowned for providing exceptional care.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care to animals and their owners, ensuring a supportive environment for both pets and their families.
You will be responsible for:
- Perform nursing duties in theatre, kennels, recovery, and dispensing areas, ensuring high standards of care.
- Administer treatments and medications under veterinary supervision, following professional guidelines.
- Assist with clinical procedures and maintain comprehensive records of patient care and treatments.
- Carry out cleaning and maintenance of hospital facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- Support evening, night, and weekend duties as required, while fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
What we are looking for:
- Ideally have 1 year experience in animal care
- Experience in a veterinary environment.
- Background in a supervisory role.
- Qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certifications.
- Skilled in laboratory procedures.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and practices.
- Valid UK driving licence and have access to personal transport.
