Purchase Ledger Assistant

Location: Birmingham, B11 

Salary: £18,525 per annum

The role:

The Purchase Ledger Assistant role is responsible for ensuring all monthly supplier invoices are processed onto the account system in line with month end cut off. The Purchase Ledger Assistant position will be working to tight deadlines and meet the needs of the business. A flexible and reliable approach is essential with strong administrations background and a keen eye for detail.

Skills, experience, and qualification:

  • Excellent IT and communications skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A working knowledge of Sage 200 or Sage 50 would be ideal
  • Preferred experience within a finance department within a manufacturing industry would be desirable but not essential
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
