Pre-Sales Engineer – London, City

In this role, you will report to the Engineering Department and will work closely with the Business Development Team under the supervision of the CFO
Your job is to partner with the Sales/Business Development Executives as the key technical lead throughout the sales lifecycle of the business. Through this partnership, you will work in a consultative role to assist in the successful closing of new deals by performing Technical Presentations of the companys solutions. You will also provide pre-sales support to the prospective and returning customers. You will be mobilized to present the Company in Events and Conferences. You will be expected to be part of technical delivery teams to assist in building Machine Learning based solutions.
Present and demonstrate the companys product and solution offerings relevant to prospective customer objectives, alongside Business Development
Successfully facilitate Technical Deep Dive sessions with customers
Build environments tailored to customer requirements as Proof of Concept during the sales lifecycle to illustrate product capabilities and how they align specifically with customer objectives
Participating in writing proposals in response to RFIs/RFPs
Work with the companys data engineering teams to develop Machine Learning based solutions
Work with the companys data engineering teams to develop POC based on priorities
Help the Business Development team identify and understand customer business objectives and organisation to best align the companys AI solutions
Ownership of technical sales opportunity closure
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions
Coordinate with internal teams across local and international offices
Assist with the improvement of the algorithms and approaches.
Bachelor's degree and/or Postgraduate qualification in Mathematics or Computer Science
Ability and interest in translating business requirements into technological visions, and reimagining data-processing technologies
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
Detective-level attention to detail and self-discipline
Client facing experience with broad cross-industry knowledge
Good knowledge and experience of Python (or Golang)
Experience with Unit testing
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems (PostgresSQL, Redis, etc)
Comprehensive experience in Software Development
Experience working with data processing and relevant architectures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French would be a +
Understanding of more advanced Machine Learning concepts such as Deep Learning
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD concepts
Experience working with Cloud Environments (e.g., GCP, AWS)
