Location: Saffron Walden, Essex

Salary: £15 - £20 per hour + Excellent Benefits

Full Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday (6:00 – 17:00)

Our client, a prominent waste management organisation with decades of expertise, is dedicated to delivering top-tier waste solutions. 

The Role: 

As a Plant Mechanic / Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and service a diverse fleet of machinery on-site using fully equipped workshops. You will also conduct site work at satellite branches.   

Requirements:  

• Previously worked as Plant Technician, Plant Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in the mechanical engineering industry.
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and engines.
• Familiarity with 360's, loading shovels, shredders, and crushers.
• Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing demands
• Flexibility to travel to satellite branches.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
