PHP Frontend Web Developer
Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex

The Role:
They are seeking a PHP / Frontend Web Developer with Proficiency in front-end to join their team. You will engage with existing websites, along with bespoke Laravel and WordPress ventures. If you're aiming for a more senior role, you'll also have the chance to actively contribute to their in-house template and framework. The candidate should live within commutable distance from Burgess Hill.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on maintaining/refreshing current client websites.
- Create frontend templates using established boilerplate.
- Develop and deploy new WordPress/Magento 2 installations.
- Contribute to enhancing existing web apps through Laravel/PHP.
- Stay updated on emerging tools to foster developer growth.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' experience in PHP & Frontend development
- Strong command of PHP and adeptness in MySQL
- Experienced in creating and integrating WordPress themes
- Proficiency in crafting responsive frontends (HTML/SCSS/LESS)
- Experience working with APIs (JSON REST)
- Familiarity with JavaScript and Git
Desirable Skills:
- Laravel (PHP Framework)
- Magento 2 expertise
- Linux (Debian) command line navigation
- Adobe CC proficiency (Illustrator/Photoshop)
