Optometrist / Swansea

Salary: Circa £36,000 - £45,000

The Company

Our client was established in 1991 and is a busy group of independent Opticians throughout South Wales.

The Role

We are looking for full-time or part-time optometrist for the Swansea branch must include Saturdays.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing sight problems
  • Prescribing contact lenses and eyeglasses
  • Sight tests
  • Providing rehabilitation or therapy for vision issues

Essential Skills & Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be conscientious and keen to deliver the best possible service to patients.

WECS accreditation is preferred but not essential (if willing to apply for accreditation) and they encourage upskilling and further education (including Pre Reg training and further courses) in line with the way optometry is rapidly evolving.
