Mobile Plant Fitter – Bracknell
Salary: Dependent on Experience
My client is an industry leading, independent company which offers a diverse range of products and services such as Waste Management, Plant and Tool Hire, Demolition Contracting and Agricultural Services. They are looking to appoint a Mobile Plant Fitter in Bracknell.

Mobile Plant Fitter covering all types of heavy machinery including; excavators (3?–?50t), screeners, crushers, tele-handlers, shovels, High-Speed & Low-Speed Shredders, dozers and all types of plant used within transfer stations.
Maintain, repair and service all equipment as per manufacturer’s specifications.
Attend breakdowns on all sites as required at any other designated site.
Maintain parts stock or advise manager in relation to any required purchases.
Ensure knowledge of technical advances is kept up to date and advise if additional training or equipment is required.
Ensure depot workshop is kept clean, tidy and complies with all relative legislation.
Make sure work is carried out in a safe manner and equipment and facilities supplied are used in a way to enable this.
Utilise Software packages for work scheduling, machine utilization and faults & maintenance
Full driving licence required.
Highly capable in diagnostics and repairs of all different aspects of plant and vehicles. Minimum of 5 year’s experience on all aspects of heavy and light plant
Highly motivated site plant fitter. Able to work on own initiative and a good problem solver.
Knowledge of electronics /?vehicle electrics and hydraulics.
Experience in welding and fabrication
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Flexible approach to overtime and allocated tasks.
Ability to learn new products, technology and approaches
High regard to health and safety and the correct process
Adaptable to different work situations
Good IT Skills.
