Salary £35,000 - £50,000 plus benefits with Home Working (1 day per week)

My client is one of the UKs most exciting food technology companies. They provide innovative, fast-growing products with global potential. They are established in locations across the UK and Germany and is now investing in growth. They are ambitious execution-oriented Marketing Manager working with a fast-paced and tenacious team.

The Role:

Our clientis expanding its successful Marketing team to meet its ever-growing product demand. They are looking for an energetic Marketing Manager for UK & Ireland who will be based in Ealing, London. It is essential that the candidate has a strong experience of the Retail and HORECA activation in the UK. You will be an ambitious execution-oriented Marketing Manager working with a fast-paced and tenacious team. You will manage a full mix of B2B & B2C marketing content across various channels.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of trade marketing and customer experience within the Hotel, Restaurant and Café sector
  • Execution-oriented Marketing Manager who thrives in an innovative and ever-changing environment
  • Strategic thinker, process-driven and possess a commercially grounded entrepreneurial flair
  • Work seamlessly with external clients and stakeholders
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills are essential
  • UK trade activation experience
  • UK driver licence (manual)
  • Office based with regular travel for site visits 

Responsibilities:

  • Creating world-class B2B, B2B2C, B2C activation plans
  • working closely with the marketing and cross-functional teams
  • Utilising online (LinkedIn, PPC, emails etc) and offline marketing activities to drive and track B2B qualified lead generation
  • Building and nurturing relationships with new partners
  • Work with strategic partners (retailers, wholesalers, hospitality chains, etc.) and their marketing teams to guarantee a successful product launch and to drive consumer uptake
  • Assist to organise and project manage the execution of new B2B customer site launches, in-store seasonal promotions and new product launches in trade
  • Attract new consumers, consistently ensuring you are tracking and reporting ROI
  • Track the user funnel and identify customer needs through user research and data analytics
  • Create order and manage all digital and traditional assets working with in-house designers
  • Develop presentations, videos and images to support the sales team to promote the business
  • Continuously analyse and report on marketing activities while maintaining the budget and ROI
  • Conduct market research and explore new channels for international markets expansion
  • Plan the content for and manage the products consumer social media channels

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in supplier management, trade marketing and product management, ideally gained in a scale-up environment
  • Experience of developing retail, Horeca or leisure consumer activation programmes
  • Sales focused with an exceptional understanding of promotion activities (in-store and on-line)
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, and a secondary language is a bonus
  • Passionate with customer experience and creative customer communication to drives sales
  • Professional working to strict timelines, manage accurately forecasted budgets and execute
  • Results orientated, with great initiative to “make things happen.
  • Highly competent verbal and written communicator
  • Confident knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and G-Suite, including the design and management of data into complex spreadsheets
