Marketing & Business Development Manager – Hackney, London
Salary – £40K based on experience + 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays + 2 "PJ Days") + Flexible working hours (core working hours 10-3) + Remote working options, minimum of 2 days per week at the office.

They design and sell “warm technology” products that create genuine feelings of human connection and belonging for those who cannot physically be together due to illness, age, or distance.
After having created the world’s first telepresence robot for children with long term illness, The client launched a one-button computer for those unable to use other communication tools.
The Marketing & Business Development Manager will play an instrumental role in establishing their new communication tool creating market awareness. In turn they will help improve digital inclusion rates for seniors and adults with learning disabilities and help modernise health and social care across the UK.
About the product
A revolutionary piece of technology for those who didn’t grow up with the internet.
It’s brilliance is in its simplicity, which has enabled 99 year olds to video call with relatives for the first time, dementia care home residents to find a sense of calm, and adults with learning disabilities to live independently. Target market is families, NHS Trusts, and other health and social care agencies.
You will be responsible for making their new product a household name. The role is varied, challenging and rewarding, requiring the creation and execution of strategies across both the consumer and business markets.
This will involve:
establishing e-commerce partnerships
exploring brick-and-mortar retail opportunities
delivering email campaigns
managing procurement opportunities
social media advertising
This role will require creativity, organisation, and a pioneering mindset. You will work within the 5-person UK sales and delivery team, and will be expected to help meet ambitious lead generation and sales targets
Skills and Experience
A self-starter, with big ambitions to help fight digital exclusion looking for a challenging role that will stretch and strengthen your marketing and business development skills able to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative design and technology business excited to work in the close knit 12-person London team, and with colleagues in Norway and Germany
As a plus would be that you have knowledge of the health and social care landscape, and experience marketing to the NHS you are a confident public speaker and relationship builder, who is happy to pitch the product to public sector customers, retailers and journalists you have retail and tech/hardware marketing experience
