Lead Brand Designer (Digital Start-up) - London
£60 to £65k + bonus + flexi/remote working
My client is an AI-assisted platform, that specialises in building, maintaining and running bespoke software for their customers, making it faster, more accessible and less expensive for everyone to bring their ideas to life.
They are very keen to hire a Lead Brand Designer, who has experience of working in a Digital Start-up to work across brand strategy, brand identity and brand communications. Experience in designing and developing ideas from concept stage through to execution across digital, print and experiential.
Last year they secured $29.5m of funding to scale our growth in Europe. They already have three offices in LA, Delhi, and London and recently hit 250 employees globally. A key focus for them this year is to significantly grow their London operation.
Description
Lead Brand Designer will be tasked with graphic design, video content creation, marketing project management, and strategically planning company marketing efforts. Over the course of a week you could bounce from creating a short video to creating a marketing flyer to overseeing a partnership marketing campaign.

As Lead designer you’ll:Directly manage, develop, and grow a group of brand designers focused on web and creative design Help define company brand strategy with leadership
Provide strategic direction for team members to be autonomous in executing campaigns and contribute to the evolution of the brand
Be an active member of our multi disciplined design team — that includes product design and user research — to foster a creative environment
Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future
Evolve and maintain the Brand guidelines
About youHave experience leading in-house brand design teams at scaling companies
Experience building out in-house design operations and partnerships with external agencies/contractors
Strong communicator and collaborator; experience working with executives and leaders
Passion for mentoring and coaching creative teams, as well as attracting new talent
Thrive in an environment of cross-functional collaboration. This role works closely with Marketing, Product and Leadership
Experience in content development for various marketing channels: illustration, video, text, digital ads, events, etc.
Have experience leading remote design teams
