Junior Project Manager – Poole
Salary: £20k - £30k + Bonus + Pension + Discount Shopping Scheme + Free Car Parking

An enthusiastic and versatile individual looking to further their career in Project Management is required to join an established Projects Department. The team provides the full range of project management capability around a portfolio of exceptional products from industry leading vendors such as SAP, Microsoft, Citrix and VMWare. The role offers a clear career path starting from project gateway through to senior management.
The Junior Project Manager role will encompass a variety of project management tasks including, but not limited to:
Management of multiple customer-facing IT application and infrastructure projects. Holding overall responsibility of the performance of projects, from the point of order through to completion
Management of project resources
Direct point of contact for customers
Change, issue, and risk management
Management of project administrative tasks
Collaboration with other team members and departments to deliver projects successfully.
As a junior role we are looking for someone with some project department experience (1 year+) with a basic understanding of the project life cycle for infrastructure solutions and/ or applications.
Experience of dealing with a significant number of projects, or project tasks at any one time.
Experience of delivering to external customers from a wide range of market / industry sectors.
Basic understanding of the project life cycle for business applications and / or infrastructure solutions.
Good communication skills and experience of dealing with customers either face to face, telephone and Microsoft Teams.
Good time management. Multitasker with a can-do attitude. Efficient and professional
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Background in resource planning and management, and risk control
Experience in managing project budgets and operating change control procedures.
Prince 2 qualifications.
Agile project experiences.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Well-presented and a welcoming, friendly manner
Qualifications and Certifications
Minimum GCSE or equivalent Maths and English - grade C or above
