Internal Recruitment Officer/HR (Part-Time)

Location: Wokingham

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 pro rata

Hours: 20 hrs a week, can be flexible on hours

My client is based in Wokingham and are looking for an Internal Recruiter Officer/HR on a part time basis to be the “recruitment engine” of the group, supporting the HR Manager, and performing all the tasks pertaining to recruiting.

Person Profile:

  • At least 2 years’ “fast-paced” recruitment experience in either an internal recruitment or agency based role
  • Expert knowledge of recruitment practices, assessments, and evaluations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Solid knowledge of applicant tracking and recruitment software
  • Industry-specific knowledge is preferred but not required
  • Excellent IT, written, and oral communication skills
  • Solid understanding of recruitment best practices
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Some HR Skills

Duties to include:

An Internal Recruiter is responsible for:

  • Assisting the HR Manager to develop a corporate recruitment plan
  • Liaising with departmental heads to understand job descriptions
  • Creating and placing job ads to attract applicants
  • Conducting initial interview, assessment, and selection processes
  • Managing and communicating with applicants
  • Reporting to HR Manager on the status of vacancies
  • Developing and implementing internal referral systems
  • Representing the company at recruitment events
