The company is looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to join their expanding research team either in London, Paris or Tunis..
The Information Security Officer will be in charge of designing and enforcing policies and procedures that protect the organization's computing infrastructure from all forms of security breaches. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and working with the IT department to resolve them, ensuring that the network and data remain secure.
To be successful as an Information Security Officer, you should have expert analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of best practices to prevent a wide range of security threats. Top candidates will also be excellent communicators, able to train and educate our staff in various information security topics.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Infrastructures, based in Paris. Given the current state of the pandemic, all work will be fully remote. However, relocation may be required once the situation improves.
Identifying vulnerabilities in the current network and cloud premises.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure our computing network.
Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
Establish security policies and processes for accessing internal documents.
Establish security policies and processes for accessing customers confidential data.
Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
Performing penetration tests to find any flaws.
Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security.
Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage.
Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security.
Information Security Officer Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field.
Professional information security certification (A plus)
Experience in an information security role.
Solid knowledge of various information security frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to educate an audience about various security measures.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Work permit for the appropriate location
