HGV Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician with 2 years of HGV mechanics experience to join a well-established vehicle repair center. This full-time permanent role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £45,000 - £47,000.

As an HGV Technician, you will perform regular inspections, servicing, and repairs to ensure HGVs comply with safety regulations.

You will be responsible for:

• Utilise diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
• Carry out mechanical repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Maintain detailed records of all work completed on each vehicle.
• Work closely with team members to ensure quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior technicians when needed.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
• At least 2 years of HGV mechanics experience.
• Experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
• Qualifications in vehicle maintenance or engineering (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Understanding of HGV systems and components.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ideally hold HGV licence.
