An excited opportunity has arisen for skilled HGV Plant Fitter with mechanical engineering qualification to join a leading supplier of plant machinery for hire, offering excellent benefits.
As a HGV Plant Fitter, you will conduct regular maintenance and servicing of the fleet, including scheduled checks, repairs, and parts replacements, both in the workshop and at client sites.
You will be responsible for:
- Diagnose and fix vehicle or plant issues.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Support team members with maintenance and repair tasks.
- Coordinate with other departments for effective communication.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a HGV Fitter, Plant Fitter, Plant Technician or in a similar role.
- Possess qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
