HGV Mechanic

An opportunity has arisen for an HGV Commercial Vehicle / Plant Mechanic with5 years of experiencein an award-winning Waste Management Company. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £20 per hour.

As a HGV Mechanic, you will maintain and repair Roadsweepers and Tankers to meet company and legal standards.

You will be responsible for:

• Conduct repair, inspections, servicing, and MOT preparation.
• Prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently.
• Work both independently and within a team.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Pant Technician, HGV Fitter, Plant Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in the HGV or PSV sector.
• Level 2 NVQ, C&G, or equivalent in a vehicle-related discipline.
• Electrical diagnostics experience would be beneficial.
• HGV Class 1 / 2 driving licence and IRTEC would be preferred.
• Comprehensive tool kit.
• Right to work in the UK.
