An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Design to join a leading consultancy renowned for its exceptional design solutions in the high-end hospitality sector.

The ideal candidate will possess 6-10 years’ experience in luxury interior design, architecture or in a related field, including 5 years in leadership role.

As a Head of Design, you will lead and inspire the design team and manage the design process from concept to completion, ensuring innovative, high-quality results.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead creative direction across projects, ensuring alignment with luxury aesthetics.
  • Establish the design vision and strategy in collaboration with senior management.

  • Serve as the primary contact for key clients, offering expert advice and solutions.
  • Present design concepts effectively, managing client expectations throughout the process.

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Maintain an efficient and organised design process, adhering to deadlines.

What we are looking for:

  • Possess 6-10 years’ experience in luxury interior design, architecture or in a related field, including 5 years in leadership role.
  • Background in client-facing roles with a focus on managing relationships and expectations.
  • Strong understanding of high-end materials and furnishings.
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and teams, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Skilled in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
