Gameplay Programmer - Warwick

Over 40 mobile games have been released, achieving over 100 million downloads, and several #1 ‘All Apps’ hits on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore, in multiple territories.

The Role:

Our client is looking for talented Gameplay Programmer to join their experienced Code team. You will enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team environment and have experience on all aspects of programming in order to assist in further developing their products. Open to experienced individuals as you will work alongside their knowledgeable well-practiced teams and have the chance to progress and learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and iterate Prototypes
  • Show great skill and finesse in developing game mechanics
  • Expert in Unity/C# , Unity UI and animation systems
  • Can solve tech issues which bring their game ideas to life
  • Work tightly with design to drive KPI’s
  • Be pro-active; you’ll work well from either home or office
  • Have strong ownership to hit deadlines

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience at a mobile studio
  • Demonstrate multiple released games and prototypes on mobile
  • Have a real interest in games design
  • Understand free-to-play gaming and its core KPI’s
  • Actively play mobile games
  • Are super keen to learn and become a better programmer

Although a degree in a Computer Science or Game Development is desirable, it’s not essential.

Location:

  • Based in client’s studio in Warwick or remote home working

Hours

  • Permeant, 30+ hours
