Full Stack Developer – Ware
Salary – £30k - £40k + Free parking + Remote Working + Pension Scheme

They design and build custom websites that communicate directly to their client's website visitors. A dedicated and passionate team that offers a variety of skills. Their bank of knowledge and experience allows them to be able to tackle any task or challenge efficiently. From creating websites for well-known brands to successful start-ups, they have successfully done it all with a happy and healthy client base.
Due to the agency’s growth, they are looking for an ambitious full-stack developer to join their team and work closely with their lead developer on their most complex and interesting projects. This role will suit anyone from graduate level up to an experienced senior.
You’ll join a team of three developers and three designers, along with their client facing team of directors, project managers and digital marketing professionals. To work with them on delivering best-in-class websites for the clients.
They are looking for someone who’s forward-thinking, open-minded and loves to solve problems to deliver great digital products.
Developing best-in-class websites
You’ll be working closely with their designers and other developers to build web projects ranging from “brochure” websites through to e-commerce and web platforms.
You’ll engage with other team members and clients to assess the feasibility of projects and estimate the right approach and timeframes.
Ideally, you’ll be based from their studio in Ware, but they are also open to a remote working option.
Developing our product range:
As the agency’s aspiration is to build their own products to license to clients there will be the opportunity to work on product development and take ownership of these tools.
Skills and Experience
What is essential:
Back-end web experience and knowledge (PHP)
Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce
Experience with extending existing WooCommerce and official WooCommerce plugin functionality
Experience in developing API integrations with 3rd party software
Some knowledge and experience setting up DNS for websites
Would be a bonus but not essential:
A Computer Science degree or equivalent
Knowledge of React or VueJS
Knowledge of Foundation
Knowledge of Webpack
Knowledge of building sites modularly
These points above would be a bonus but can be taught on the job so are not essential.
This role can be based in their main office in Ware, or the client are open to remote working and can provide a hot desk in Ware, London or anywhere to suit.
