Front of House Supervisor – Kings Lynn, Norfolk

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

The Role

A small independent restaurant with a fantastic reputation, achieving many accolades such as (EDP Norfolk 'Restaurant of the Year, two AA rosettes, Michelin Guide and the Good Food Guide) are expanding their ever-growing team and looking to recruit a front of house supervisor to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the management of the day to day running of the restaurant
  • Greeting and serving guests, making them feel relaxed and anticipate their needs
  • Communicate front of house needs effectively to both FOH and BOH
  • Providing customers with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all food and drink items on the menu
  • Updating the EPOS till system on a daily basis with new products/prices
  • Creating new cocktails/drinks ideas and ensuring all drinks menus are always up to date
  • Placing all wet orders on a weekly basis
  • Dealing with booking requests, ensuring all bookings are made correctly
  • Taking responsibility of the cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
  • Assisting with front of house staff rotas and communicating start times with staff
  • Inspiring, motivating and leading a team of front of house staff. Delegating tasks.
  • Maintaining the highest level of service to consistently exceed our guest’s expectations
