Front End / WordPress Developer 

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £25-30k depending on experience + Generous benefits

We are looking for a skilled Front End / WordPress Developer for our client. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development and implement and maintain attractive and functional websites and web portfolios. Salary circa £30,000 plus benefits.

Our client is a leading software solutions company providing complex and innovative API and SAAS-based solutions to their clients.

The Job Role:

• Assist with planning and development of websites and bespoke web-based experiences as per the client's requirements.
• Implementation and upgrade of internal and external web properties.
• Building websites on chosen CMS including WordPress.
• Integrating websites with third party APIs
• Testing and debugging / /UI Testing for both websites and webapps
• Build superb client relationship by exceptional delivery and as per the requirements suggested by the client.

Essential Skills:

• Strong WordPress experience (API Integration, integrations of plugins, bespoke theme creation)
• Strong knowledge in PHP, MYSQL, Javascript/Ajax, HTML, and CSS/SASS
• Experience with version control such as BitBucket or GitHub

Desirable Skills, Experience, and qualifications:

• Strong experience in fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Apache/NGINX infrastructure.
• An eye for UX/UI design
• Experience with root stack of WordPress (Sage, Trellis, Bedrock)
• Experience with GULP and/or webpack
• Knowledge of frameworks such as React and Ruby on Rails.
