Front End / WordPress Developer
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £25-30k depending on experience + Generous benefits
We are looking for a skilled Front End / WordPress Developer for our client. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development and implement and maintain attractive and functional websites and web portfolios. Salary circa £30,000 plus benefits.
Our client is a leading software solutions company providing complex and innovative API and SAAS-based solutions to their clients.
The Job Role:
- Assist with planning and development of websites and bespoke web-based experiences as per the client's requirements.
- Implementation and upgrade of internal and external web properties.
- Building websites on chosen CMS including WordPress.
- Integrating websites with third party APIs
- Testing and debugging / /UI Testing for both websites and webapps
- Build superb client relationship by exceptional delivery and as per the requirements suggested by the client.
Essential Skills:
- Strong WordPress experience (API Integration, integrations of plugins, bespoke theme creation)
- Strong knowledge in PHP, MYSQL, Javascript/Ajax, HTML, and CSS/SASS
- Experience with version control such as BitBucket or GitHub
Desirable Skills, Experience, and qualifications:
- Strong experience in fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Apache/NGINX infrastructure.
- An eye for UX/UI design
- Experience with root stack of WordPress (Sage, Trellis, Bedrock)
- Experience with GULP and/or webpack
- Knowledge of frameworks such as React and Ruby on Rails.
