Food and Beverage Manager (Luxury Spa Hotel)

Location: Gloucestershire 

Salary: £28,000 plus benefits

The Food and Beverage Manager is an exciting and key role within the hotel operation. Joining an exceptional team, you will be responsible for Food and Beverage operations the at one of the Country’s premier country house hotels. You can expect to receive approx. £28,000 plus 29 days holiday per annum.

The Job Role:

  • The Food and Beverage Manager will work in conjunction with the Exec head Chef, Head Chefs, Restaurant Manager and Duty Managers.
  • Apply and promote a culture of guest care and hospitality throughout the organisation.
  • Create a personal presence as the host/hostess of the property extending a welcome to all guests.
  • Set the highest standards of management, inspiring a motivated, efficient, and happy working team.
  • Help to extend a welcome to all guests with hospitality at the forefront of all they do.
  • Apply and promote a culture of sensible cost control and sales maximisation throughout the organisation working towards achievement of profitability targets.
  • Oversee and facilitate the upkeep, maintenance of the hotel, pub and grounds and ensure cleanliness and presentation are always to required standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements including health and safety, fire hygiene and employment regulations.

Skills and experience required:

  • A strong Food and Beverage Manager with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A consummate professional with an instinct and an eye for professional hotel keeping.
  • An instinctive host/ hostess with effortless social skills and a natural and relaxed approach to hospitality.
  • Well-developed leadership skills, capable of rebuilding a contented team focusing on clearly defined goals.
  • Good humoured, caring disposition.
  • A liking for figures and statistics (financial skills not essential).
