Fitter / Installer – Blinds & Shutters – Rayleigh, Essex

Salary Circa £18 - £22k Depending on Experience.

The Company:

Our client is a family run business providing bespoke Blinds and Shutters to customers throughout Essex. They always go the extra mile to offer a friendly and professional service to their clients.

The Role:

Due to continued growth and an increase in workload they are now actively recruiting for a Blinds & Shutters Fitter to join their team. You will cover customers based near Rayleigh and the wider Essex region.

The role requires a candidate who has at least 1 years commercial experience working in a carpentry, joinery or a handy person type role.

You will need a good understanding and be a competent user of various tools such as drills and levels.

As you will be working in people’s homes, you will need to be a tidy worker, well presented with a high level of pride in your work.

You will need to have excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach. You are able to come up with solutions to ensure the customers blinds can be fitted in their property.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, approx. 8am to 4pm, with some occasional evening/ weekend work as required.

Full product training and use of a work van, with all tools and equipment etc provided.

Essential Requirements

Experience in carpentry, joinery, shop fitting or a similar handy person type role.

Full Manual Driving License required.

A reliable person with a  keen and proactive approach.

A good understanding of a wide range tools.

Excellent customer service skills.
