Financial Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant with 4 years of experience in a similar financial role to join a dynamic engineering firm, offering excellent benefits. You will oversee budgets, financial reporting, and compliance, with a strong understanding of the Irish tax system.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly and year-to-date management accounts within strict deadlines
• Managing costs, ensuring creditor terms are met and aligned with internal policies
• Compiling cash flow reports, and monitoring debtors, creditors, and sales across multiple business units
• Creating executive summaries and schedules for audit purposes
• Handling government and statutory reports, including tax returns and other mandatory filings

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar financial role.
• Background in budget management and financial reporting.
• Skilled in financial systems and processes.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
