Field Sales Account Manager (Warranty Solutions)

Location: Newport, Wales

Salary: £25k - £30k, OTE £50k (Uncapped Commission)

Job Type: Full - Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday

The Client:

Our client is a well-established automotive firm, delivering exceptional warranty support to motor dealers and exceptional coverage to the public.

The Role:

As an Account Manager, you will be providing excellent customer service to existing motor dealer accounts and actively acquiring new business from target dealer accounts.


  • Conduct in-depth research to maintain a comprehensive understanding of your territory and its opportunities.
  • Innovatively pursue new business from target accounts, employing a consultative sales approach.
  • Address client queries and collaborate with management when necessary.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations, negotiate effectively, and overcome objections to secure business from target dealer accounts.
  • Proactively plan for growth, meeting monthly new business KPIs.
  • Regularly analyse reporting systems to identify focus areas in your territory.
  • Efficiently manage your diary to optimise your role effectiveness.


  • Previously worked as an Account Manager or in a similar role.
  • Ideally possess sales experience in a dealership or field-based environment.
  • Customer service and cold-calling skills.
  • Valid driving licence.
