The Client:

Our client is a well-established law firm, dedicated to delivering expert legal solutions to individuals and businesses. 

The Role:

As a Family Solicitor, you will handle various aspects of family law including marital breakdown and finances, domestic abuse, contact with children and local authority childcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage legal issues within the same family.
  • Direct and supervise mediation sessions, providing effective legal advice.
  • Organise and maintain official documents necessary for case filing.
  • Coordinate with staff to prepare comprehensive case briefs for trials.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences.
  • Respond promptly to clients' urgent needs.
  • Oversee family estates and wills.
  • Attend trials and court proceedings.
  • Regularly update clients on the status of their cases.

Requirements:

  • Previously worked as a Family Solicitor, Family Lawyer or in a similar role.
  • Newly qualified - 3 years of (PQE).
  • Ideally possess experience in both public and private funding.
  • Strong client care skills.
  • Capable of dealing with clients during vulnerable stages in their lives
  • Ability to build trust with clients.
