The Client:
Our client is a well - established consultancy, providing a wide range of services, including traffic engineering, and infrastructure design solutions to back development proposals across the UK.
The Role:
As an Experienced Flood Risk Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies, and design solutions. Your responsibilities will include technical leadership, project management, and expanding the client base.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.
- Manage and lead technical aspects of development projects.
- Develop and win new business opportunities.
- Prepare and design Drainage Strategies for planning applications.
- Client interaction, proposal writing, and report approval.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Previously worked as a Flood Risk Engineer or in a similar role.
- Skilled in Flood Risk Management, including the use of WinDES/Micro Drainage software and CAD.
- Expertise in preparing and designing Drainage Strategies.
- Proven experience in project management and securing new projects.
- Capability in project leadership and management.
- Strong client interaction skills with a track record in report review and approval.
Good to have:
- Experience in hydraulic modelling
- Expertise in surface water and foul drainage.
- Understanding of sustainable drainage (Suds) design.
- Skilled in AutoCAD.
