Enterprise Architect – IT Management & Technical Consultancy

Salary: £70-90k pa plus benefits, bonus (7-15%) & on-going training
Our client, an expanding medium-sized Management and Technology Consultancy based in Surrey looking to take on an Enterprise Architect. As Enterprise Architect, you will have the opportunity to provide support to a wide range of high-profile UK public sector and defence organisations including the Home Office, Ministry of Defence, HM Treasury, Ministry of Justice, Police Forces, Fire Services and the NHS; as well as a range of national and international companies across the private sector.
Essentially, we are looking for people with experience covering a variety of backgrounds/experience covering:
- Enterprise and Technical Architecture development and review using EA frameworks and methods (TOGAF, MODAF)
- Government Digital Service approaches including the Government Service Design Manual and the Digital by Default service standard
- Business or systems analysis methods and tools (BPMN, UML}
- Software development methods and techniques (Agile methods such as SCRUM)
- Programme and Project Management methods (MSP, PRINCE2, DSDM, Scaled Agile Framework)
- Public sector best practice guidance (ITIL, OGC toolkit)
- Business case development to Treasury guidelines
Generally, They need people who come from a Consulting and Client Facing background preferably gained within the Public Sector or Defence oriented environments. As you will work closely with the company’s clients, they naturally need people to be effective team players and to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be able to pass stringent security clearance as SC clearance is a requirement.
Due to the nature of client-side working, regular travel within the UK should be expected. The base office is in Guildford, but it is likely that you will spend the majority of your time working with clients at their sites.
You will be given the opportunity to further your career in consulting, specialising in the application of a broad range of methodologies and technical specialisations to a wide range of business problems.
