An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Installer / Electrical Tester with experience working in the social housing sector to join a well-established construction firm. This role offers a salary range of £42,500 - £47,500 and benefits.
As an Electrical Installer / Electrical Tester, you will be responsible for performing electrical upgrades, partial and full rewires, consumer unit replacements, Aico smoke alarm installations, testing, and EIC’s, EICRs.
You will be responsible for:
- Documenting completed works and reporting to your supervisor.
- Carrying out remedial work and installations, including alarms, consumer units, emergency lighting, rewires, and wet rooms.
- Handling day-to-day reactive maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring efficient and cost-effective planning and execution of tasks.
- Proactively managing workloads to meet deadlines.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as an Electrical Tester, Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Test Engineer, Electrician Improver, Electrical Installer, Electrical Assessor, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Contractor, Electrical Wire Tester, Testing Engineer, EICR or in a similar role.
- Experience working on social housing contracts or similar environments.
- Background in fault finding, testing, and inspecting electrical work.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition City & Guilds.
- Skilled in Microsoft software and other relevant technologies.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Possess own tools.
