An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Design Engineer with several years’ experience in electrical design to join a well-established manufacturer firm, offering excellent benefits.
Our client specialises in electrical resistors for power generation, high and medium voltage distribution.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the engineering team in designing electrical equipment for industrial applications. This full-time role offers salary range from £35,000 to £50,000.
You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing design requirements and producing necessary calculations and documentation.
- Applying relevant design standards and industry regulations.
- Creating electrical wiring diagrams and component layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Approving design information from team members.
- Conducting technical investigations and providing support across various departments.
- Identifying and implementing new industry-wide processes.
What we are looking for:
- Several years’ experience in electrical design, preferably with machinery design.
- Degree in electrical engineering.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles and basic mechanical design knowledge.
- Familiarity with IEC 60204 and IEC 61439 standards.
- Knowledge of the CE marking process and DFMEA.
- Skilled in Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical.
Shifts:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:15 - 17:00
- Friday: 8:15 - 01:00
