Digital Marketing Manager
Our client are a dynamic and creative full-service marketing communications agency, based in the south of England.
The talented team includes experts in PR, digital and traditional marketing, creative graphic design, cutting-edge website development and corporate hospitality sales. They offer all of these services in-house, meaning customers can rely on them to cater for all of their integrated marketing needs. They deliver the promotional package that will achieve the best results.
We are looking for a driven and passionate full-time Digital Marketing Manager with a proven track record in successfully managing client's content and social media marketing campaigns as well as excellent copy writing skills. You will join a dynamic, close-knit team of PR - Marketing Account Managers and work closely with the Web Development Manager to further develop their digital offering, reporting directly to the Account Director.
Managing a broad portfolio of digital marketing client accounts, delivering high quality strategic development and implementation
Creating monthly content and social media plans for clients that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the client's products/service and industry
Scheduling and sharing social media posts, keeping full oversight of engagement and responding to comments
Managing and developing digital advertising campaigns across key social channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
Maintaining regular contact with clients, by telephone and email, sharing campaign results and demonstrating a high level of accountability
Writing a diverse range of content primarily for use online, including blogs, news, case studies and thought leadership articles
Utilising search engine optimisation tactics to improve clients' and the website rankings
Preparing regular analytics reports highlighting new followers, customer engagement and conversions to demonstrate ROI
Working alongside the Web Development Manager to further develop their digital offering and packages
Supporting the Account Managers team sharing digital knowledge and expertise
Creating monthly social media plans, writing and sharing posts across their digital channels
Contributing to the company's marketing, including writing content for their website
Brainstorming fresh ideas for integrated communications campaigns with the team
Attending client meetings (virtual and face-to-face eventually)
Supporting the Account Director and Managing Director with research for new business proposals
Proactively develop own digital knowledge by following relevant blogs and news sources and to bring fresh ideas to the table
Essential Skills - Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a digital marketing executive or manager role
Excellent understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
Proven experience of using key social media channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
Strong writing skills
Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A good understanding of wider marketing, basic budgeting, and campaign planning
The ability to manage projects to deadline
A hands-on 'can-do' attitude
