Deputy General Manager
Salary: Circa £30K with additional £2K annual bonus as well as £100-£200 per month not guaranteed.
Our luxury hotel based in a quaint Cotswold village with outstanding beauty are looking for a Deputy General manager to join their friendly team. They provide a high class service with amazing food and rooms overlooking the beautiful scenery.
The hotel are requiring a Deputy General Manager which would be a perfect opportunity for a F&B or Ops manager to take a step up. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the property and all departments. You will manage the F&B and service in line with other duty managers also providing support and assistance in development. You will also step in with management of building in absence of the GM.
- Supervise all Duty managers Targets and key areas issuing projects where needed for development
- Recruitment in F&B and assist in other areas
- Hotels Rota – managing departmental rotas
- Sales figures
- Cost control
- Fire folder, safety and training including health and safety
- Personnel in absence of GM
- Staff job chats
- Refund management
- Stock takes
- Reception and reservations
Essential Skills & Requirements:
This hotel requires you to be friendly and positive with a determined manner and great work ethic.
You need to have at least 5 years experience as a F&B or similar role.
Previous reception experience or training an advantage but training can be given in their standards.
