The Client:

Our esteemed client is a leading Electrical & Mechanical Services provider specialising in public sector projects, serving Schools, Local Authorities, and NHS Trusts.

The Role:

As a Commercial Plumber, you will install, maintain, and repair pipes, valves, drains, and fixtures in diverse structures. Ensure adherence to plumbing regulations for successful inspections.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial heating equipment, hot and cold-water systems, and distribution mains.
  • Addressing plumbing emergencies, identifying issues, and promptly executing necessary repairs.
  • Undertake commercial plumbing and basic multi-trade tasks.
  • Conduct site surveys and submit comprehensive reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of work and report delays or early completion to management.
  • Collaborate with management and clients as necessary.
  • Follow instructions, understand blueprints, and building plans.
  • Manage risks, ensuring risk assessments and method statements are in place.
  • Maintain brand compliance with a clean van and attire.
  • Achieve performance targets, including health and safety, work standards, and conformity with core processes.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous experience working as a Plumber, Commercial Plumber or in a similar role.
  • NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent City & Guilds qualification.
  • WRAS, G3, and L8 certifications. (Beneficial)
  • Training in electrical work. (Preferred)
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
