CDP or Junior Sous Chef – Inverness-shire, Scotland
Salary: Circa £25K DOE with share of tips
Our client is a luxury hotel based in a Scotland with outstanding beauty and the finest luxury experience are looking for numerous chef roles to join their friendly team. They provide a high class service with amazing food and rooms located amongst the glens, lochs and mountains of the West Highlands.
The hotel are requiring chef roles within the restaurant. They are looking for CDP or junior sous chefs to assist the head chef in all aspects of planning, organising and communicating within all kitchen departments. You will make sure the smooth running of the food offered in the hotel and support the kitchen team to achieving the highest standard of food production especially in the head chefs absence. The CDP must be able to solve problems quickly and in a pleasant and professional manner.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
This hotel requires you to be friendly and positive with a determined manner and great work ethic.
You will need one year minimum experience at this level in a high end kitchen.
Hotel experience is preferable.
They will reward a positive attitude and good service with further development and training and an enjoyable career.
Should someone be strong they would consider for a junior sous role with added responsibility including running whole kitchen in quieter times.
