Business Systems Manager (Internal) - Poole
Salary: up to £45k + Bonus + Pension + Discount Shopping Scheme + Free Car Parking

As the Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for the business systems within the company. Ensuring that they are well maintained, secure, supported and that they meet the needs of the growing business.
You will be working as a part of an internal DevOps team with your main focus being on the running of the main business systems, local, data centre and cloud-based services.
You will be third line support for any back-end issues that occur with these systems and will play an active part in the design and implementation of any new requirements the business may have.
You will report to the Senior Management Team and be expected to be able to present at this level concisely.
As Business Systems Manager, you will need to:
Research, install and configure new business systems and networks including live, development and test systems.
Implement technology, directing the work of systems and business analysts, developers, support specialists and other computer-related workers.
Act as third line support for any issues that arise within the business systems and networks.
Evaluate user needs and system functionality, ensuring that IT facilities meet these needs.
Be a part of the planning, development, and implementation of the IT budget.
Be responsible for the risk management of the systems and the business continuity plans.
Be responsible for the maintenance of all hardware and software across the estate.
Organise purchasing of some hardware and software.
Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
Monitor and manage system alerts and security alerts.
Guarantee the smooth running of all IT systems, including (but not limited to) security software, print services, cloud services, network connectivity, file and email provision.
Ensure that users adhere to software licensing laws.
Provide secure access to the network for remote users.
Secure data, and systems from internal and external attack.
Offer users appropriate support and advice.
Manage crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
Mentor and train new IT support staff.
Keep up to date with the latest technologies.
Contribute to organisational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning.
Applicants will need to have held similar positions within IT led companies and have a proven track record of system stability and internal service delivery. They will need to be well versed in Microsoft Cloud technologies and Data Centre led solutions, as well as having experience of traditional networking, other on-premise software and other hardware-based solutions.
